Agreement For Coaching Services
This agreement sets forth the expectations and standards that both client and coach expect during the coaching relationship. Please read this agreement followed by the ‘HOW TO BE COACHABLE’ document. Policies and expectations are outlined in the following:
- The relationship between Client and Coach
As the client’s coach, Melissa Wiggins (hereby referred to as Coach) will partner with the client on a journey of discovery, exploration, accountability, and follow-through. The coach’s job is to help the client get curious about who they are and help them learn how to make good decisions. The coach will help the client discover within themselves the beliefs or issues that are blocking them from achieving their goals.
The Coach operates from a particular coaching model, but it is the responsibility of the client to follow through with implementing the empowerment they receive. The client is solely responsible for their outcomes.
- Terms of Service
Achieving the results desired and expected by the client and coach normally takes time.
Either party may terminate the coaching relationship at any time. There are no refunds of monies should the client decide to terminate between August 2023 and February 2024. All monies are paid upfront unless the coach has agreed to a payment plan.
Any fees/sessions unused by February 2024, will be considered forfeited.
The Fee: The fee is $12,000 for coaching services from August 2023 until February 2024. Fees must be paid in advance or at the time agreement is signed. For your records, you will receive an invoice for services rendered.
Payment Plans: Payment plans are accepted with a credit card on file. All fees are owed by February 2024. $12,000 is the fee due regardless of whether the client shows up for 1:1 sessions, group coaching, or retreat.
- Scheduled Sessions
1:1 coaching sessions will be delivered by meeting at a specific time and day agreed upon by the coach and client. 1:1 coaching sessions will last for 30 minutes twice a month, group calls will be for one hour weekly, and a retreat date will be chosen by the client from the options available.
Rescheduling: The client or coach can request or reschedule but must make the request a minimum of 48 hours prior to the session or the session is considered completed.
- Cancellation of Appointments
The client is responsible for any regular session fees that the client cancels with less than 48 hours' notice. Cancellation should be given by email. All makeup sessions must be completed by February 2024.
Agreement For Coaching Services
- Confidentiality
The Client’s identity, relationship, and content of the sessions are strictly confidential except in situations where such confidentiality would violate the law or cause harm. The client is welcome to share about their coach and coaching experience and identify themselves – the coach can also do so with permission from the client.
NOTE: As a master certified professional coach, Melissa Wiggins (Coach) logs and reports client coaching hours for the purpose of certification.
- Liability
Client agrees and understands that Melissa Wiggins. LIFE and all its employees are not medical or physiological professionals. They are not a substitute for psychotherapy or medical practice. If a situation arises where medical or psychological intervention is needed, Melissa Wiggins. LIFE is ethically and legally bound to refer the client to a mental health or medical professional.
